Lab Error and Reunions

Well, I decided to get my TSH lab redrawn because I truly didn’t believe it could be that low. And, being in the medical world, I know that lab errors do occur. So, I wanted to see if it was (for my own curiosity). Well, it was a week between the tests and the 2nd time, the reading was 1.61, which is quite normal, and the result I would’ve expected the first time! So, my doctor was pleased, and said to stay off the medication and to recheck in a month to make sure. So, that made me excited! So, note to the wise. If you ever get some test result that seems way off to you, don’t hesitate to ask for it to be redone.

On other matters, my 10 year high school reunion is in October.  I was really torn when I found out when it was because Stephen and I were planning on going to a young marrieds retreat with our church group that weekend. But, after thinking about it and after talking with several people, I have decided to go to the reunion. Young marrieds retreats will happen again, but the 10 year high school reunion only happens once! Of course, Stephen said it was up to me, but I know he’d much rather go to our retreat. So, a trip to Searcy will be in our plans for the end of October. Chrissy, are you going to your high school reunion?! haha!

Well, that’s it for now. And, I apologize for my husband’s inactivity in the blogging world. I try to make up for his lack of blogging. Later.    –jen
