I will do a post dedicated to Abriella’s birthday soon, but the battery on the camera died while I was uploading pics so not all of them are on the computer yet. But, never fear, I will add a couple of pictures today.
So, we went to the pediatrician today for Abriella’s 2 year and Colby’s 2 month appointment. I have to say that was quite the visit. I am sooo thankful that Stephen could take some time off to help me there. I don’t believe I would’ve made it without him! Anyway, they are both very healthy and growing wonderfully!
Abriella did quite well today. I wasn’t sure how the S-H-O-T would go, but she took it like a champ. She only had to get one, thankfully. She yelled for a second, but then she was really excited about the bandaid on her leg, and talked about that the rest of the day! Haha!
Her weight was 26 lbs 9 oz today, which is exactly 50%. Then, she measured 34 inches, which is slightly above 50%. So, she’s just perfect! We couldn’t have been more pleased!
Colby checked out just fine today as well. He was so unsuspecting, poor fella! I hate those first set of shots! I cried when Abriella got her first ones. I didn’t cry for Colby as I knew what to expect, but it still makes me sad! He just cried his little eyes out! Sooo sad! He’s been pretty pitiful the rest of the day. He got a long nap this afternoon, but woke up with a fever, but we gave him some Tylenol, and he’s in bed for the night now. But, it could be a long night. We’ll have to see!
Anyway, his stats were great, too! He weighs 12 lbs 12 oz (he’s 2 months 1 week today) and measured 23 1/2 inches. Both of these measurements are almost exactly at 75%. So, he’s very proportional as well! Praise God!
So, I’ll leave you with a couple of pictures. First one of Abriella eating her cupcake at the birthday party, and the second one of Colby just being cute. And, in his picture, he looks JUST like my brother!! It’s a little eerie to see how much he looks like Michael, so definitely some genes from my side of the family are coming through! Enjoy!

Shots are never fun. I’m glad that Abriella was easily distracted by the band aid. Abriella’s party was fun, sorry we couldn’t stay very long. Kylee tore into her cupcake when we got home!! I remember Kylee slept all day after her first shots. I enjoyed the cuddling.
