Abriella was so excited about school! I got her a little backpack from Wal-mart and a lunch bag from Target. She was obviously excited as she was very cooperative with me getting her ready this morning…fixing her hair and everything. That says a lot!
So, we left a little early so we could meet her teacher, Miss Trish, who seems very sweet. Since we were a late acceptance, we missed the meet the teacher/open house time. She said that she has 9 years experience in preschool teaching, so that seemed like a plus to me! She said they work on things like socialization (you know…you’re NOT the only one, etc), and manners, etc. She gave me a sheet of information, BUT I must have left it in the office when I was filling out paperwork. Uggh! I’ll get it this afternoon.
Anyway, Abriella was the first one there, and she walked right in and started playing. She had no problems with me leaving or anything. So, she was definitely ready and excited! Her class will have a total of 8 children. I’m sure she’ll have a blast! She is in the Perky Penguins class!
So, as a good mom should, I remembered to take a few pictures of the occasion. Point for me! (I usually forget cameras on such occasions).
So, I pray that this is a fabulous experience for her at the Belton Christian Preschool! I know I’ll enjoy the time at home with just Colby a couple of days a week.
So cute! She will love it!
She looked like such a big girl coming through the door this morning! So cute. Hope her day (and yours) went well!
Is there a boy Noah in her class??
Emily, I don’t think there is a Noah in her class. There are a couple of 2 yr old classes though. Maybe he’s in another one??
I am so excited that she enjoyed pre-school! It will be good for her, I think!
Maybe so – he started this week as well. His mom’s name is Amy – and she has another baby about 8 months old.
