We had our pedi well visit appt today for Colby. Stephen and I had made a bet on his weight. I won (only by 1 oz, but hey, 1 oz is 1 oz)! He weighed in at 16 lbs 4 oz (still 75%) and measured 25 inches long (50%), although I think he’s actually longer. The nurse measured him quickly while his head was still bent sideways …so we probably are a bit longer, but whatever. He’s a healthy boy!
Doctor said he acts older, because he sits up and holds his head up like a 6 month old. She said he’s very strong. She also noted some ridges on his bottom gums, which I think Abs had at 4 months too, but her first teeth still didn’t come in until 6 1/2 months.
He was all smiles to the doctor and so sweet…but all that changed when the shots came. Poor fella! I hate watching them cry so hard, but he was easily consoled and went right to sleep in the car. Thankfully, Amanda took Abs for the morning and they went to playgroup at Chick-fil-a! Thanks, Amanda!
