7 Months

Colby turned 7 months on Sunday! Wow! What’s he doing these days?

* Sitting independently

* Goes from sitting to hands and knees

* Army crawling like a mad-man! Still not crawling on hands and knees. He rocks back and forth on them a lot but then just propels/lunges himself forward to his belly and proceeds to army crawling. The boy has some strong upper body strength!

* still working on eating–honestly, if it’s not convenient to me or he’s tired or cranky, we don’t do them. He gets them most days at dinner though.

* pulls hair A LOT.  Uggh!  He has quite the grip!

* goes for all cords, outlets, shoes, socks, and anything that is his sister’s, and really anything that is probably not appropriate for him… another uggh!

* still wearing 6-12 month clothes

* still wears size 4 disposable diapers, which he rarely wears now. we are pretty much 100% cloth diapers now.

* rolls both ways very easily.

* goes to bed around 6 pm still. generally only wakes 1 time during the night right now, but sometimes 2 times. up for the day around 7am.

* naps at 9 am and 1 pm

* Loves his bath! We moved to the blow-up ducky bath that his sister used and he really likes it. He likes to splash a lot. He is definitely not one that you would want to leave for even a second while in the bath. He likes to move around way too much and is likely to get himself into trouble, and he also drinks the water (read: chokes on).

* No stranger-danger whatsoever. He will go to anybody and smiles at everyone!

* Favorite song is Jesus Loves Me.  Just ask Pappa!

That’s what he’s up to now. I may come back and add more if I think of more. But, for now, the 7 month picture (only a couple of days late!).

Finally, please pray for the house inspection this weekend to go smoothly and that nothing is wrong with our house that would cause the buyers to back out. They have until the 17th for their option period to terminate. We’ll feel much better when we get past that date! Thanks!
