Ok, I’m a little behind on posting this. Ridley was 1 month old on the 22nd of February! I meant to post this back then, but life got in the way! I guess that’s how it goes with 3 kids! 🙂
Ridley is doing great! He is growing, growing, growing! He is still sleeping in the office, but I think we will try to move him upstairs to his room before too long. He definitely has some more awake time now during the day. He has been giving us a few smiles here and there. His first smile (that I saw) was on the day he turned 1 month old. The next one that Stephen and I both experienced was a couple of days after that. So sweet! He is still pretty stingy with the smiles right now.
Abriella and Colby are always right in his face, if they can be! HA! We try to keep Ridley safe from his siblings not-always-so-soft gestures. 🙂 We took Ridley to church for the second time this past Sunday. He also was there for the annual Baby Blessing when he was 3 wks old. We’ve been trying to be cautious about being out in super germy places, and I think church is one of the germiest! I don’t think that is even a word, but I think you know what I mean! People go to church even when they’re sick because they feel like they should be, and then people want to touch and kiss on babies like it’s nothing! GERMS! yuck! I’m not a germaphobe, but with RSV and other flu and cold illnesses so rampant in the winter, I have been a bit more vigilant in trying to protect the little guy. He gets enough exposure to junk with his siblings going to preschool twice a week. Anyway, praying that he (and all of our kids) will stay healthy!
I haven’t been posting as much lately, primarily because Ridley sleeps in our office. This is where our computer is that I use to post on our blog. When I could be posting, he is sleeping in here! He happens to be sleeping in the bouncy seat right now in the living room, so I’m trying to sneak in something quick here!
This next one shows him to be really chunky. I think it was the angle of the camera and the way he was sitting. He is not that chunky yet at all! But, figured I’d add it anyway!
Here are some pictures of his 2nd bath. He actually looked  calm in this one. He has cried through all the others. We bathe him maybe once a week. He’s our most underbathed child so far. HA!
Oh, he woke up and is not happy! This post is now over. I will try to get more pictures up before too long. We do have a lot more than have been posted. Just haven’t been able to post them!
