I Have the Greatest Husband!

Yep, I do. I’m so thankful for Stephen and how hard he works for us. I sometimes find being a stay-at-home Mommy very challenging and frustrating. Don’t get me wrong! I LOVE being able to stay home with Abriella. I love being able to see the new things she does everyday. I don’t want to miss those firsts, so I feel very blessed to be able to experience that. On the other hand, there are times when I feel I excelled so much more as a full-time working Midwife. Thankfully, I am able to go work every once in a while and get my “Midwife Fix” so that’s definitely a blessing. Anyway, all that to say that it’s so nice to be appreciated. I know, I know, we all know somewhere in the back of our minds that our husbands love us and appreciate our hard work. Some husbands are better about verbalizing this than others. Well, on Friday, Stephen came home early from work. He had been late in coming home most of the week due to an awful call week. He actually beat us home. We were out running errands. Anyway, I opened the door, and sitting on the counter were flowers and a card! What girl doesn’t love flowers?! Yes, we all love them on those special occasions where we keep “hinting/reminding” our husbands about the upcoming holidays and how much we love flowers—-you know…Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Anniversaries, etc. But, when we get them just because they love us and want to show their appreciation for what we sacrifice and do daily…well, those are just WAY BETTER! The note that Stephen wrote in the card just brought tears to my eyes. Yea, I know, some women are just too hormonal! Anyway, I LOVE YOU, STEPHEN!! THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A FANTASTIC HUSBAND AND FOR BEING AN AWESOME DADDY TO OUR LITTLE GIRL!!!
