Today is one of those days that people try to have their babies on because of the date. I’m not one of those for this one though. I’m happy waiting just a wee bit longer for Abriella’s arrival! Monday, I will be 37 weeks, which is considered full-term! What a milestone. So, it’s really just a waiting game now. Wild to think that she could come at anytime now. Stephen keeps saying he’s ready for her to be here! He just THINKS he’s ready! haha. Anyway, we’re getting everything in order for her. Her room is ready, the cradle is ready, my bags are packed, etc. Just need the baby now!
I’m not working now. It hasn’t really hit me yet. I think next week will be the week when I realize that I’m not going to work everyday. Tuesday was my last day this week. We had the 4th of July on Wednesday, so that just seemed like a day off, then on Thursday, I had a prenatal appointment, so once again, felt like a day off. Now, we’re on the weekend. It just hasn’t hit me yet, but I’m sure it will next week. Will probably be very weird.
Pregnancy wise, we’re doing good. I’m just uncomfortable. But, in the last week or so, I think she’s “dropped” a bit, but I still feel her up in my ribs too, so that’s not helpful. But, I have to pee ALL the time now! I get up at night every 1-2 hrs to pee. It’s really quite frustrating. Just preparation for the sleepless nights to come, I suppose. Stephen sleeps like a log too…doesn’t budge a bit when I get up and down all the time. Uggh! Also, probably a sign of things to come….
I added an ultrasound picture of Abriella at 35 1/2 weeks. Open it up, and you’ll see where I wrote some comments about it. I’m anxious to see what she will look like full and in color!
