Well, this week has been really busy. I’ve gone somewhere with Abriella everyday this week. Poor baby is tired! As is her mama! I think Abriella really likes to stay home where she can keep her routine. But, I can’t stay home forever!
So, Monday, we went to playgroup at the park. It was fairly nice weather especially under the shade of the pavilion. I got ant bites on my toes, which didn’t make me extremely happy. I didn’t realize there was a troop of ants crawling on the concrete of the pavilion and then onto my feet! OUCH!
Tuesday, I made a trip to work to see all the people at the hospital. Everyone oooo’d and aaahhh’d over Abriella. She slept in my arms most of the time we were there. She screamed her little head off as we were going home though. She didn’t stop until we got home and I picked her up. Then, she didn’t want me to put her down. So, I took a nap with her in my arms. Tough job, I know! I went to my game night with the gals at church that night while Stephen watched her. Well, not that I want her to be a difficult baby or anything, but sometimes I’d like for Stephen to have to work a little while I’m out! hehe. Well, I had put the baby down for a nap around 6:45pm and figured she’d wake up in an hour or two and I had left some pumped milk for Stephen to feed her. Well, the child didn’t wake up until nearly midnight!! What in the world?! So, she at then, and of course, she wanted to play! So, Stephen and I sat there and played with her. I sent Stephen off to bed. Abriella didn’t go back to sleep until 2:00am. Crazy girl got her times all mixed up!
Wednesday morning, Stephen, myself, and Abriella all hung out at the bank for about 2 hours! If you haven’t heard, someone is “sharing” our bank account with us. They are also sharing Stephen’s driver’s license with him. This really isn’t the type of sharing we like though! So, we have decided not to share our bank account anymore. Stephen also went to the police and told on the peeps (whoever they might be). Uggh!
Yesterday, Abriella and I went up to Waco to work at the JBF consignment sale (I worked a 4 hr slot so that I could go to the presales). I knew I was pushing it to take her with me, but I didn’t have any other choice since Stephen was working. Well, she apparently knew something was up, so she started being cranky before we even left! She decided to go on an eating and sleeping strike for a while yesterday. Bad baby! She finally ate a few times and then Stephen got there after work so that I wouldn’t have to shop while toting her. After a while, she finally got sleepy. I fed her before we went home, and she slept the whole way home. Then, she ate a little more at home. She played some, we gave her a bath, and then she was SSSSOOOO tired! She didn’t even give a fight when I was swaddling her (that never happens!). She was asleep before we even got her to her crib. She slept for 10 hours!!! WOW!
At the sale, I bought some great stuff. I got a high chair , a pack-n-play , a playmat , and some clothes, and a few toys. I just love these consignment sales! We’d be so poor if we bought all of this stuff brand new. Some of the things are new too (like clothes that have never been worn), but they are cheap. That’s my kind of shopping!
This evening, Abriella and I are going to a baby shower of one of my coworkers. Stephen’s gonna prepare his lesson for class while we’re gone. Then, tomorrow night, we’ve been invited to some of our friends’ house for dinner with several other couples. What a busy week! No wonder Abriella is so tired! I am gonna try and go over to another friend’s house before the shower and weigh Abriella. I want to know how “fat” she is now!
