Yep, I’m 30 weeks preggo today! Seventy-five percent down, 25% to go! This pregnancy has really gone quickly! It’s a little crazy thinking about what we have left to do, but I know the little guy doesn’t need much at the beginning anyway, so he doesn’t care what we have left to do! It will all get done one way or another.
I had another prenatal appointment yesterday and did my glucose test. If I don’t hear from them, then all is fine. Hopefully, I won’t have any issues this time, just like last time. I’m starting my 2 week appointments now. I have all of my appointments scheduled out all the way to 40 weeks. My appointment went well and Colby continues to grow, as does my weight! haha!
Abriella has continued to do well in her new bed. Before last night, she had 3 nights in a row where she somehow ended up out of her bed, and was sleeping on her rug. Whenever I wake up to pee (like 40 times a night!), I look in the video monitor to see where she is. We have the monitor where we can see her bed and the rug, so we should be able to find her. If she’s not in her bed, I go and place her back in bed. She never wakes up when I do this. Well, 2 nights ago, I couldn’t see her anywhere. Night vision on those monitors makes it where it’s a little bit more difficult to distinguish between some things. Anyway, I went into her room to find her. I found her with half of her body (the top half) straight under her bed…sound asleep! She wasn’t even on the rug at that point…she was partly sleeping on the wood floor! Anyway, I literally had to drag her out from under the bed and then put her back in the bed. The reason I go and put her back in her bed is two-fold. First, I don’t want her to wake up out of her bed. Secondly, I can’t continue sleeping at night, knowing she’s not on her bed!
I think she’s a hard sleeper, but she’s also a very active sleeper! I think between Stephen and I, she was doomed. We were both movers in our sleep as kids. So, she came by this trait honestly. So, she somehow ends up out of the bed at some point in the night, but I don’t think she has any idea she’s doing it. Anyway, last night, she stayed in the bed all night. So, hopefully, she’ll subconsciously figure out how to stay away from that one rail-less area of her bed and be able to remain in bed all night, every night!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted any pictures (and, I’m not going to now either). I just haven’t had time to sit down and work with this new system enough to be quick about getting them up and posted. Sorry. And, we have been so busy lately and that continues. I promise I will post some eventually. Be patient with me.
I’m getting ready for another consignment sale that I’m actually consigning in this week. It takes time to get all of these clothes ready. But, if I can make a little money, it’s worth it! Abriella and I went to Ft Worth last Thursday to attend the largest consignment sale in Texas. I got quite a few things…most of it for Colby. Then, she and I went to the Ft Worth Zoo! I highly recommend this outing!! She loved it!! Since it was getting late and I didn’t want to drive home after a long day, she and I stayed in a hotel. She enjoyed that experience. She slept in the bed with me which ended up with her sleeping well, but me not so much! She is like a little hot potato and gets right up next to me! Turns out, I had about 1/4 of the bed, and she had the rest of it!! I hope she had enough room! HA! We played in the hotel pool in the morning before we headed back home. She enjoyed that as well. Anyway, we had a good Mommy-Daughter outing!
Well, I think that’s about it for now. I need to get back to working on these clothes to consign. Just letting y’all know that we are still here and are alive. Have a great day!!
