This weekend, I was so blessed to get away for a little Mom retreat. Stephen is so good to me and encourages me to get away every now and then. I went here for the weekend. It was only about an hour and a half away, which was great. Â There were no tv’s in the rooms, which was fabulous! Â The surroundings were just beautiful! And, at night, the entire resort (as they call it) has quiet time from 10pm – 6am! And, it was observed. I didn’t turn my window unit on in my room, and it was QUIET! I woke up to birds singing in the mornings. Wonderful! It was just the neatest place, and there are hiking trails all around, and lots of other neat things. I would love to go back there with Stephen sans kids. I think it would not be very relaxing with them at this age. But, it will be fun for them one day as well.
I spent the weekend with God. The entire weekend was spent in the Word, praying, journaling, meditating, listening, and praising! the weather on Saturday was divine! It was awesome! Â Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
