I am finally getting around to the pictures from the Eckstein family reunion from the first of August. It was in Texas this year, near Amarillo, so we were able to go, after missing for several years. We had a great time! The kids did great and enjoyed seeing their cousins. Ridley and I stayed at some friends’ house in Amarillo every night, which was great! My little introvert and sleep-loving self needs to get away from the chaos and regroup. The sleeping arrangements at the campsite were not ideal for this—all the women were in one big room with bunkbeds. The men had the same on the other side of the building. I had no idea how Ridley was going to sleep in that, and since we were still nursing, I didn’t see how that would be very easy to do in that situation. Not impossible, but not ideal at all. Anyway, it all worked out great! He and I got sleep and quiet every night, which made us both enjoy the reunion much more!
