Here are a couple of pictures of our cuties tonight before our church trunk-or-treat! The thing that makes me happy about this year (besides how cute they are) is that I didn’t buy a single thing for their costumes! Colby’s Buzz costume came out of our dress up box and the wings are being borrowed from a friend. Abriella’s dress came from one of the church secretaries. Her daughter (who is now in high school) wore it when she was little and it was made by her sister-in-law. I did a few alterations with pins because it’s a little big, but it worked! The bonnet is from one of Abriella’s Sunday school teachers (she could be Abriella’s grandma)—it was made by her great-grandmother and was told to us she was a real pioneer! So, she was thrilled to let Abriella wear it. She also loaned us another one that we don’t have it in these pictures. Ridley’s tiger costume is borrowed from another lady that I know from a Bible study I went to when I was pregnant with Ridley. It was worn by her son when he was 22 months old—the boy is 10 years old now! Anyway, I thought it was neat to have these things borrowed from lots of people!
